Modern Waste Systems offers many services to residential customers and as a locally owned and operated company we strive to meet the needs of our customers. A live person will always answer your call if you ever need to get in touch with us.

At Modern Waste Systems, we will never charge you activation, administration or environmental fees. With some other waste management companies, they charge you a $15 to activate, Modern Waste will give $15 dollars off your first bill.

Garbage Tag Service

Modern Waste Systems also offers an inexpensive, low volume refuse removal service with Garbage tags. Garbage tags can be purchased at the Modern Waste Systems Office or through the website.

Residential Guidelines

1. You MUST call in large or bulk items such as: appliances, furniture and carpet. There may be extra charges that apply for these types of items.
2. We can not pick up grass clippings, leaves or other yard waste.
3. We recommend placing your trash out the night before your scheduled pick-up day. All trash must be at the curb by 5:00am. We will not return to pick up trash that is not set out in time.
4. Our policy is one household per account. Sharing will not be permitted!
5. If a holiday falls on a weekday (M-F) there is a one day layover the remainder of the week. All pickups will be completed by the following Saturday.
6. We observe six(6) holidays; New Years Day, Memorial Day,4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Holidays falling on Saturdays will not be affected.
7. If you would like to pay for one(1) whole year, you will receive on month free.
